www.metacafe.com is a video entertainment site. You can see there thousands of videos, being them funny, educational, musical or commercial.
Metacafe Pro 1.2 is a program to let you access that material directly, without a browser, with some addons.
When you install this program, it will use some disk space to download the videos that you have listed in your screen, in order to let you view whenever you want, without having to download them while you´re viewing them. You can adjust the allowed space.
You can view videos directly from Metacafe´s Main Windows, or you can see them in Full Screen Mode, or choose the TV Mode. In this way you will see every video in Full Scren. If you would like to share a video with friends, Metacafe lets you email them a link that will open the video.
The interface has three tabs. In New Items you will receive the fresh videos from Metacafe. As time goes by (and your allowed disk space disappears), they will be moved to Old Items ant then erased. But you can save the items you want to keep under the Saved Items Tab.
You can also submit an item, or volunteer to be a Metacafe reviewer. |
